Privacy Policy
This policy describes what personal information WillTheyBuy collects, how we use it, and the rights you have over it.
Information we collect
We collect:
- Account data - the email and name you provide when you register, and the name we receive from your payment provider when you add a card.
- Content - the products, prices, briefs, and prompts you submit to run research.
- Usage data - how you interact with the product, device/browser details, and diagnostic logs.
- Billing data - handled by our payment processor; we never see or store full card numbers.
How we use it
To provide and operate the service, run the research you request, authenticate you, process payments, prevent abuse of the free tier, diagnose problems, and improve the product. We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Service providers
We share data only with service providers under contract that help us run the product, limited to what they need: Stripe (payments), Keycloak (authentication), our site monitoring provider, and our cloud hosting provider. On this marketing site we also use Google Analytics, described below. We may also disclose information where required by law.
Analytics on this site
The marketing site at willtheybuy.ai measures how visitors use it, with Google Analytics and our site monitoring provider. Analytics is on until you opt out. We make no screen recordings, our site monitoring provider does not store your IP address in its records, and Google Analytics advertising personalization and Google signals are off. Google explains how it uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
- Analytics data - the pages you view, the page that referred you and campaign parameters (UTM), your approximate location (country), browser and device type, random identifiers (including a Google Analytics cookie identifier), and clicks on the "Log in" and "Sign up" buttons. We use it to count visits, see which pages and channels bring visitors, and for marketing reports. Our site monitoring provider keeps detailed visit records for 30 days, and Google Analytics keeps its data for 14 months.
- Server request records - your IP address, the page requested, the time, your browser type, and the country inferred from your IP address. We use them for security, to operate the site, and to count visitors by country. We keep them for 15 days.
To opt out, choose "Opt out" in the notice, or use the switch under "Your privacy choices" in the footer, which opens the analytics choice on our Cookie Policy. If your browser sends the Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as an opt-out. The choice is stored in a cookie that covers willtheybuy.ai and its subdomains. Opting out stops the analytics in your browser; it does not stop the server request records.
Retention
We keep personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, then delete or anonymize it, except where we must retain it to meet legal obligations. Unclaimed anonymous guest sessions are automatically purged.
Security
We protect data with encryption in transit, scoped access controls, and tenant isolation. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to safeguard your information.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under GDPR and CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below.
International transfers & children
We may process data in countries other than yours, with appropriate safeguards. The service is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.
